After an early breakfast, we drive 200 kilometers from Bujumbura, in the North-East of Burundi, Kirundo a region of extensive depressions dotted with many lakes and abounding in bird life. It is an area of great scenic beauty where the visitor may discover, by canoe, such lakes as Cohoha, the bird Lake, renowned for its ornithological reserve ; and other lakes like Kacamirinda and Kanzigiri. On the road leading to Birds Lakes, we will stop not far from Bugarama to see splendid tea plantations at Teza.
Day 3: Kibira Forest
Early Visit of Kibira National Park with a nature walk, there you might encounter some baboons, chimpanzees, visit of pygmies of Busekera and later enjoy a tour at the Teza tea factory. After lunch drive to Bujumbura.
Day 4: Airport Transfer
End of the tour.
