Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is located in the heart of Africa, in the corner of southwest Uganda, nestled between Uganda, Rwanda & Democratic Republic of Congo. This Park is found in South Western Uganda on the edge of the western rift valley. It covers an area of 321 square Kilometers; it also lies along the border of Uganda & the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Park is well known as the home of the world’s Mountain Gorillas.
The safari is designed to balance the two elements of relaxation and time in the wilderness. You will get to see and learn about the wildlife, the local people as enjoy the stunning landscapes that earned Uganda the perfect description-nickname – The Pearl of Africa.
This safari takes the most liked route for exploring Uganda’s primates. Many tourists chose a trip similar to this – with adjustments such that they can see all these highlights on their Uganda safari.

Day 01
To Bwindi Impenetrable/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
On this day, you will wake up early & have breakfast then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park while enjoying a scenic drive that allows you to view the beautiful & varied country side. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the southwestern part of Uganda on the rim of the Rift Valley. More notably, this “impenetrable forest” protects an predictable 320 population of Gorillas – approximately half of the population in the world, among which are a number of habituated groups, that can be tracked by visitors. Bwindi is habitat to more than half the world’s population of Gorillas.
You will arrive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening & check in to your preferred accommodation for your dinner & overnight stay.

Day 02
Mountain Gorillas Tracking & Batwa Community Visit
After breakfast, you will hike to the Park headquarters just meters from the Lodge for briefing by UWA guides before transferring to the starting point for Gorillas tracking. Your Mountain Gorillas tracking experience will be an exciting, yet challenging, journey along forested slopes, tangled vines, thick vegetation & bamboo forests before you reach the territory of these gentle giants. The visit will give you a glimpse into the life of a Gorilla family & if you are lucky enough to gaze into the eyes of a Gorilla. Visiting Mountain Gorillas will take you 3 hours to a full day trek through the forest since Gorillas move from one place to another every day looking for food & water.
After Gorillas tracking, you will visit the Batwa community for them to take you through their traditions like traditional dance, beer making, setting fire among others.
After Batwa community visit, you will return to your preferred accommodation for your dinner & overnight stay.

Day 03
Equator Experience & Departure
On this day, you will enjoy your last sunrise and breakfast in this beautiful corner of Uganda before your guide drive you across the beautiful sceneries back to Entebbe & drop you off at Entebbe International Airport 3 hours before your departure time with a stopover at the equator for equator experience & photo moments.
Please make sure your flight departure is after 6 pm at the very earliest. For flights departing before 6 pm you will need an extra night in Entebbe, which we can help arrange for you at an additional cost.

• Cancellations more than 30 or more days before the first day of your safari adventure:
100% of the deposit refund
• Cancellations 15-29 days before your safari adventure should begin:
50% of the deposit refund
• Cancellations 7-15 days before your safari adventure should begin:
25% of the deposit refund
• Cancellations less than 7 days:

• Mountain Gorillas, Chimpanzees & Golden Monkeys Permits are excluded from the percentages above and are 100% non refundable.
• Cancellations or postponement caused by effect of Covid-19 won’t need any charges.
To reserve this wonderful safari adventure with us, we kindly request you to make a deposit payment of only 30% of your total safari adventure amount through bank transfer or pesapal online payments system/link. The remaining balance is paid in cash on arrival to Uganda to start your safari adventure.
