Here you will visit Kibale National Park, Semuliki National Park, KAFRED and Amabereganyinamwiru cultural site in Fort portal and participate in activities like Tree planting with pearls of Uganda and a project called “save river Mpanga”, Chimpanzee tracking and conservation experience, Hot springs experience, nature walks, hill climbing, crater lakes viewing among others.
Kibale national park is found in the western and accessed through the town of Fort portal. The park adjoins Queen Elizabeth national park and is a very popular ecotourism destination on the countries safari circuit. The park is best known for its population of habituated chimpanzees. There are many other species of primates including Baboons, Red Columbus monkey, LHoest’s monkey, Black and white colobus monkeys that are seen on guided nature walk in the forest.
The park can be visted throughout the year and covers an area of 776 sqaure kms with many different ecosystems in the within its boundaries.it is primarily endowed with rainforest cover where forest Elephant’s roam. These animals are smaller in size than their counterparts in the savannah. Other species include Buffalos, giant forest hog,and several species of secretive antelope. There are over 335 species of birds where the extremely rare Green Breasted pitta would be regarded the highlight of any visit. Butterflies are very numerous in the forest with excellent knowledgeable guides to point them out for you.
The forest has a network of trails for chimpanzee tracking, bird watching and nature walks. Bird watching activities are also conducted at Bigodi wetland sanctuary on the border of the forest.

Arrival day
Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide from Ecovic Tours and Travel Uganda, who will then transfer you to your Guest house/ Hotel/Lodge a stone throw away from Entebbe international airport for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
